    1. The participents in the method section has been corrected to 11, 693.

    2. In results ‘ml’ has been removed from FEV1 /FVC (−2.81, 95%CI −3.37 to –2.25) and FEV1 /FVC (−1.85, 95%CI −2.24 to –1.46).
