Participants were stratified to have obstructive sleep apnoea if greater than or equal to 50% of events were obstructive in nature, and were stratified to have central sleep apnoea if greater than or equal to 50% of events were central in nature.15 Participants were stratified to have indeterminate sleep apnoea if they have AHI >5, but both the OAHI and CAHI were <5.
