Implementation and Scale-up of Tuberculosis Preventive Treatment

Tuberculosis is the top infectious disease globally, driven by transmission and progression from latent to infectious disease. The WHO urges closing diagnostic gaps and expanding TB preventive treatment (TPT) to reduce its burden. TPT remains underused worldwide, notably among household contacts, despite its effectiveness.
